The Darkness II Amps Up... Pretty Much Everything

Finally finished the first one this year, and I'm down for any more Darkness I can get.  The visual style suits the comic book roots, and I'll be getting this day one.
 
The only question remaining is... can Nolan North do an Italian accent?

Ok, this looks really cool. Even if I can't get over Nolan North replacing the original voice actor for Jackie.

This game is looking pretty good, enjoyed the first one.

I haven't even checked out the first game. I didn't even hear anything about it.

The characters look like they would fit in Borderlands. If they get the gunplay to borderlands quality, then I'm on board despite not liking the first.

I'm cool with the new look, but not with nolan north as the voice of jackie.  The original guy was perfect.  Nolan North just sounds forced and off.

If the first thing you think of when you look at this trailer is wow that looks like borderlands...you might wanna find a different hobby. Cel shading is not new so anyway...loved the first game and can't wait for this. 

Bring back Kirk Acevedo!

Cel-shading is only good for anime games. The look makes the gore in the game seem cartoonish and contrasts with the somewhat darker tone of the comic book.

GOOD WORK REFERENCING THE ONLY MEMORABLE THING FROM THE ORIGINAL

Really hoping this one won't get banned in Australia. Looks way more violent than MK7 and L4D2..

Cel Shading to make it fit with the comic was nice if it makes it feel less dark and horror like.

The Darkness review, Gamespot.

This looks really really good. I am excited, I feel like they can do a lot with the story. Having a conflict between the darkness and the villain, basically over jenny, can lead to some very interesting plot points.  
 
Also am I the only one who thinks the art style looks so much better then the original game?

This trailer didn't feel anything like the first game. Which is kind of a disappointment. But then again, I'm all for people trying new things, so we'll see where it ends up I guess.

It's just me or the new look kind of resembles Borderlands.

Looks fun. I liked the first game so I'll probably pick this up.

I am not digging the cel-shading graphics. It does the game a disservice. Less creepy.

I played about fifteen or twenty minutes of this at PAX East, and I was happy with what was there. I really liked this first game; the new developers seem to know what was great about it and are turning that up while adding some fun new powers. The comic book style of the graphics is also a nice touch. All in all, I'm looking forward to Darkness 2.

I liked the look of the first game more.

I like how there's nearly a 50/50 split on the opinion of the visuals. Half of the people here are saying "Oh gosh this looks terrible the first was better" and the other half are saying "Wow this looks way better! I like the new art style."
