I don't care that there was no gameplay... Visually that trailer was stunning.

So is this the actual SR reboot? The icon, the color scheme, the musing about "A street gang? hardly"? Or just a play on their previous titles?

Idk what it was but that trailer did nothing for me. Seemed really dull, if it wasn't for the fact that Volition was making it I prob wouldn't be interested.

This has to be linked so SR in some way. That logo at the end looks a lot like the Saints logo. There's something very fishy about all this...

If it wasn't tied to Volition and vaguely (or not so much) to Saint's Row... I don't think I'd be interested after that trailer. Thankfully for them, it is.

I don't really care for the aesthetics I think it has an alright look but the borderlandsish shading/look they are going for I don't really care for or maybe it is the humor but it doesn't seem great.

I really liked saint rows 3 and skipped out on 4 but gotta see some footage of this before I make any judgments.

As a fan of dope electronic music. That music was terrible. And why did they have such a low and seemingly unstable frame rate on the video?
Otherwise it looks neat. The royal lily is present!

I feel like the rest of the comments are a little too critical. I dig that it's silly and lighthearted akin to a cartoon. The trailer looked awesome, with the traditional drawn effects over the 3D stuff. I didn't even know it was Volition until the end, which is a good bonus.

I'm going to take a stab at this game's story. There will be a few orbs around the world that Babylon is trying to activate. From this trailer it's shown that the Agents have no trouble at all defeating the activated orbs. So after all the orbs are taken care of Babylon unleashes a special orb/golem monster that is slightly more tough. The Agents defeat it and then you chose your ending: kill Babylon or throw him in jail to rot. The end.

Saints row the third was gold... this... this is going to be... golden.

In an IGN video, the lead writer of the game, Jason Blair, has said that the Saints as a street gang have never existed in the Agents of Mayhem universe, but then a video producer at IGN implied in the comments of that same video that maybe Blair said something off-mic (or in a video that they intend to release at a later date) that would suggest the universe is still related to the Saints Row canon.

So yeah, I guess the "Saints-as-police timeline reboot" ending of Gat Out of Hell is at least partially canon? But Blair, in a way, also essentially says the equivalent of "there's always a lighthouse." According to him, Ultor and the fleur de lis are just iconic Volition things, not necessarily specific to one Volition universe. So...
