This Latest Darksiders II Trailer Is All Gameplay, All the Time

I think it's about time I went and finished the first DARKSIDERS.

I make a pre-order on this one for first time long time so it's good for me isn't it well we will see in the end won't we.

I'm glad we have devs like this who realize that there is still demand for single player only games that have 30+ hours of gameplay.

MAN I can't wait for this game, so excited. That's some badass rider action.

Definitely. The ending is pretty great IMO.

Considering the last 3 trailers have only shown CG stuff that won't be in the game then sure is "refreshing" is being a while since I see a full CG trailer actually, AC3 probably is the closest.

I don't know if I'd call that trailer "all gameplay." All in-engine, maybe, but that was at least half cutscenes and cinematic camera angles.

Calling it: Darksiders 3 will feature four player co-op, each player controlling a different horseman.

I pre-ordered this game. I never pre-order games. I think it has a lot to do with the drought we've been having, but also the fact that this game looks pretty tight. We'll see.

This actually looks great. I guess it's time to finally play the first Darksiders in preparation. Thank god for free games on PS Plus.

Pretty pumped to kick the shit out of War. On another note, I think that the character design for Death is a lot better than it was for War.

I'm into this. I wonder how that WiiU version will turn out? If this game is so loot-heavy like they've said, I wonder if I should just wait for that....

Downloaded the first Darksiders a couple months back. I really need to sit and play that before this comes out.

everytime I read the name "Darksiders" I read "Darkstalkers" first and get really excited for a fraction of a second.

Picked up a pre-order for this for $37 the other day on Green Man Gaming. So stocked, especially considering how great the first game is.

This keeps on getting even higher on my wanted list...I will have to check reviews for this when it comes out.

I loved the first one soo much that I have to buy this .Ya know I've noticed that the first Darksiders is getting a lot more love now, than when it came out because of the whole zelda rip off thing which is nice.

So while I'm excited for this game, I've only played like an hour of the first one and am not really digging it. Don't like the feel of the combat, and the arbitrary nature of some of the level design. Should I stick with it?

Ugh. This game makes me angry at myself. I want to play it, but man I hate oversized weapons. Something about the art style of this series just makes me recoil -- but I hear it plays like Zelda, which basically means it's awesome. What's a gamer to do?

Was already exited for this, but this trailer was probably the first trailer to get my body ready, and now I need it.

Odd, the video does not play in Chrome, I've not had this problem before on Giant Bomb.

@GERALTITUDE: I had the exact same response to the first game, but pretty much all of that melted away when I started solving puzzles in the first dungeon and realised how appealing a Zelda game uninhibited by Nintendo's design philosophy could be.

This game can look as much like an Iron Maiden album cover as it wants just as long as the gameplay remains quality.

This game evokes "old school" action gameplay mechanics in a larger world with all the neat additions I could want in a next gen title. Namely a loot and skill system, which enhances how you approach fights in this game.

Pre-rendered cutscenes are so stupid. I don't know why anybody gets excited over those. THIS, i guess (trailers are still stupid for video games) is better.

Well you should probably know that Ono sort of/maybe/kind of confirmed a new DarkStalkers at SDCC. He used to ask people to raise their hands with money to show their support for a new DarkStalkers game. This year he said they didn't need to do that, but it was in a good way. So...maybe we'll see a new one.

I just realized how Brutal Legend this game looks , but it looks kinda juvenile compared to BL because it takes itself too serious.

Why is Cthulu in the game?

Sounds like it to me. He voiced Azrael in the first game, though he sounds a little gruffer in this.

I thought it sounded like Sean Pertwee, but you are probably correct.
