    Murmur has dominion over souls, and can force souls to appear before a summoner. He rides a gryphon, and was apparently an angel of the order of thrones before he fell. He and Bifrons share duties relating to the dead. 
     
    IN GITEN MEGAMI TENSEI: 
    Murmur is the first major antagonist in Giten Megami Tensei; he infiltrates the shelter by killing a member of the Devil Busters and  taking their form. He then proceeds to turn many of the inhabitants to zombies. He and several other demons brutally pull Yuuka to pieces and eat her alive to absorb her strong spiritual power.
