4D Sports Tennis is a first-person tennis game released for PC (DOS) in 1990. It was developed by Distinctive Software and published by Mindscape. It is the pre-curser to the much more successful 4D Sports Boxing.
The game uses untextured 3D polygon graphics and has RPG like elements such as allocating points towards speed, acceleration, and endurance. Game modes include practice, exhibition, tournament, and an expansive 5-year career mode where the player can design their activities fro each month.
The game is controlled with the mouse and keyboard, and the camera can be changed to third-person view by entering the options.
