    Overview

.kkrieger is a first person shooter game that uses procedural generation to create all the environments and textures in the game. Because of this, the whole game uses only 96kB of disk space.

    Development

The game was developed for the 96k game competition during the Breakpoint 2004 demoparty in Bingen, Germany. It won the competition (followed by B-Clopd 3D, Cubes 50kB and No Moles).

The full development time up until the party was over two years, and the game was intended to be the first in a trilogy. Chapters 2 and 3 were never completed, and chapter 1 itself never actually went out of beta before .theprodukkt ceased to exist as a separate arm of the demo group Farbrausch.
