    Gameplay

APOX is a real-time strategy game that includes gameplay concepts from FPS games, wherein the soldiers in the game can perform varied tasks such as:

    • prone and crouch in order to avoid getting hit or to better prepare a shot
    • switch active weapons
    • throw grenades
    • loot corpses for ammo, etc
    • share ammo with their squad-mates (soldiers will have limited ammo)
    • be placed in vehicles, allowing the player to create their own unit designs

Despite all this, APOX still plays very much like a Real-Time Strategy game, and managing your structures and resources is still key to achieve victory over your opponents.
