    Overview

    Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is a spin-off of Team Ninja's Ninja Gaiden series, being jointly developed by Team Ninja, Keiji Inafune's Comcept and Spark Unlimited. It was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2012.

    The plot centers on a ninja named Yaiba, who is killed by Ryu Hayabusa. Yaiba is reanimated, and follows the footsteps of Hayabusa, who attempts to put a stop to a zombie outbreak, in a fictional Ukrainian city invaded by Russian troops. He slogs his way through scores of the undead to exact revenge on his killer.
