A Valley Without Wind 2 is a platformer adventure game mixed with a turn-based strategy game.

The preface of the game drops you back within the original game of A Valley Without Wind. However, this time you have a crystal of your own. The player takes control of an elemental mage (1 of 5 of your choosing) who has infiltrated the inner circle of the evil overlord Demonaica and his immortal army. You must deem worthy of gaining his trust and upon gaining Demonacia's power, you must bring both Demonacia and his army back to the mortal world to destroy them for good.

Your goal is you must steal power from the overlord and from other evil third parties scattered around the world.

Upon exploring lands, whilst in the main map area you can dispatch resistance member to do various tasks such as erecting and constructing buildings for supplies and shelter, scavenging, and gathering survivors to help in the fight. Be warned, avoid Demonaica when dispatching troops. He will interfere and prevent them from doing their jobs until you are ready to take him down in a single battle.
