Neverout

Overview

When looking for a VR game full of puzzles and secrets, you have to come across Neverout. This is a production based on the original mechanics of the Gamedust studio, in which we end up in a mysterious prison. The prison is shaped like a cube and in many places refers to the cult movie Cube from 1997. The player observes the action through the eyes of the protagonist, becoming him and looking for a way out of the claustrophobic surroundings.

Gameplay

How to get out of this enormous mass that defies the rules of logic? First of all, a lot of imagination and spatial thinking should be involved. The main mechanics of Neverout is rotating the entire environment in which we are. Changing the perspective, we go through its next rooms and get closer to the desired exit. At its core, it is a game very close to the Escape Room idea, with an even more intense atmosphere.

Check how you would behave in a dark room from which nobody wants to let you out. Find out if you can solve the puzzles and if you are determined enough to regain your freedom. It is a simple, but very refined idea which, thanks to the support of a dense atmosphere, remains an adventure that stays in the memory for a long time.

Neverout is a great title to be experienced also by people who are not gamers on a daily basis. Intuitive control and a clear goal that is understandable to everyone, makes it a position where anyone with enough nerves can start their adventure with VR. For those who do not have virtual reality goggles, there are also standard versions for Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.

Putting together clues, associating facts and environmental puzzles are the hallmarks of Neverout. The game lasts about two hours and during this time the player overcomes many adversities on the way to the finale of the plot.
