    Konami's creative director of Metal Gear Solid 3D, Yoshikazu Matsuhana, has said that Metal Gear Solid could in future appear on Wii U, saying that the company have already had preliminary discussions with Nintendo.  It would be a great addition to Contra, I hope it happens.
