The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
Black Wii Heads to Europe.
" That classic controller pro looks slick "
It feels pretty great also. I hate the Classic but with one of those on it feels surprisingly good.
" @SathingtonWaltz said:It's not being released in the U.S as well? Huh, that is a little strange. We never get exclusives most of the time. Except a European Extreme on Metal Gear Solid but that only exists to frustrate us." I hate Nintendo for releasing this everywhere but the USA. It looks so much better in black!!! =( "Now you know what it's like being on our side of the fence. It's usually Europe that has everything last or sometimes not at all. "
It makes me want to buy another wii, not gonna lie, but I personally don't use it, the girls I live with do, but that thing is so pretty =(
On another note, this supposed Limited Edition (-old Nintendo ploy), will likely mean Nintendo will have the most popular Christmas gift for third year running here in the UK...
November 6th UK - November 20th Europe

I'm waiting until they release a Camouflage Wii that comes with (hopefully) the next Metal Gear Solid 3 sequel thing, or AC!D 3.
Yeah, it's just a conventional Classic Controller which has a cradle attached that adds the hand grips.. It uses that mechanism on the back of the Classic to attach and release..
" A black wii motion plus Wii Sports Resort bundle? Now there is just no excuse anymore not to own a Wii. D: Does it have a hug button? "No, but everyone who buys it gets a personal visit from Handsome Dead, who will hug them for being people of impeccable taste ^-^
" Yeah, it's just a conventional Classic Controller which has a cradle attached that adds the hand grips.. It uses that mechanism on the back of the Classic to attach and release.. "So that's what that is for . I was wondering what it was ever since i got my wii
It's not just a conventional classic controller, the design is different, I believe the handles are build-in rather than attached. They've also changed the shoulder buttons removing the (never used?) analog functionality and positioning and shaping them better. They've done other minor adjustments to the button placement and the analog stick placement to suit the needs of CAPCOM (or specifically the Monster Hunter team)." It's also a new plastic material researched and developed by Nintendo as apparently they weren't satisfied with the existing look and feel of black plastic products. Overkill or awesome? I'm leaning to the latter...

Well my only experience of it was at a Capcom Monster hunter thing in London, and they were attached to the demo pod. It was hard to tell if they were attached or not because of a bracket holding the controller. The shoulder buttons did seem different, but if they've moved the sticks, I cannot say I noticed that, it's certainly not clearly apparent. They must have moved them very slightly over the original.
I was just about to post some similar pics..
Clearly not a cradle, I guess I've had that cheap Nyko model in my mind which does use one.

good point, however I'm just giving a heads up because things like this are cluttering up the forums at the moment quite a bit. Also the 'flag' option doesn't seem to be working right now for some strange reason
