The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
Yeah, of all the series that Pokemon has spawned (Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon), Pokemon Snap was EASILY the best, yet hasn't been revisited. Pokemon Snap is the only game I got off of the Shop Channel for N64, and it's well worth 10 bucks. A sequel would really benefit from having IR control that plays much like FPS's do, with an adjustable bounding box and all. I think it could be really great, and would be the best possible "bridge game."
Whoa. It WOULD be a great game for the entire family, as well as gamers! Why in hell haven't they made it?!?!
With the additional power of the Wii and all the extra Pokemon that have been added. it is a perfect fit. The Wiimote is just made for this game. On the subject (of sorts), a Wii version of Hey You Pikachu would also be worth a thought.
Me and my friend would compete for hours to get the best shots. That game was the better than all the other Pokemon spin-off crap and I'm surprised it didn't spawn a whole genre.
Pokemon Snap was great. Imagine if you could explore the entire island by walking and entering caves and other constructions in third person, and the view would change to a first person perspective when you decided to take pictures. There would also be a leaderboard to show the best pictures took of each kind of Pokemon.
