I have no desire to play another WWE game until they bring back the story creator.
You'll never play another WWE game then.
I can't see them ever bringing it back due to moderation concerns, server issues, CAWs now including an obscene number of logos, and the fact that 95% of them were garbage (kinda like Mario Maker's offerings).

I can't wait for NewLegacy Inc. to find all the ridiculous game breaking glitches.
i assume thats a youtube channel, mind sharing your favourite WWE glitch vid?
Here's some amusing ones I ran into last year...

And there was this huge audio screwup that wound up in the dlc...
Everything in the trailer looks good outside of Alexa Bliss who's skin color seems too dark.

The new lighting looks great.... the problem is this appears to be the only new thing in the game.
Oh and now it appears you can have 8 men in the ring at once? Thats the last thing I want is more people in the multimen matches (that aren't rumbles) everyone knows trying to win a multiman match is the single worst thing about these games.
On top of the expanded roster, there's new backstage areas, the return of ultimate control moves (under a new name), and just like last year a bunch of new transitional and selling animations which greatly improves the flow and presentation of the action.
Also, while yes, in most cases the 8 men matches will probably be a pain and likely something that will cause heavy frame drops if not crashes, especially when CAWs and custom arenas are involved, but on the bright side we can now have authentic four on four Survivor Series elimination tag matches. Something I've been wanting for years.

These games just aren't all that fun to play and don't do a great job of representing what wrestling is like on television, something that I don't think any wrestling game has ever accomplished.
They don't do a great job of representing multiman matches and never will until they spend some quality time improving the AI. I highly doubt we'll ever get anything remotely similar to a DIY/Revival or New Day/Usos tag match, but the one on one game play is pretty fricking solid.
Unfortuantely it still lacks the bursts of speed, a consistent representation of fatigue, and a near complete lack of working the ropes unless it's built into a specific move's animation. All things needed if they're ever gonna truly offer something that captures the feel of NXT and indy wrestling.....especially something like NJPW. Still, 2K has made great strides in implementing new reversal and transitional animations that really add to the gameplay simulation-wise. I've had some matches that flowed better than any wrestling game I've ever played....and I've played way too many.
While I appreciate and honestly love what THQ San Diego attempted with WWE All Stars, especially the differing classes which made you want to learn the in and outs of every character, actually being able to pull off a match that looks somewhat comparable to what we see on television is cool. I don't know if the market could support both an arcade and a simulation driven WWE game right now, but if there was a way to bring a little arcade spirit into the current series and having it be an optional experience, 2K should definitely pursue it.
