This is a crossover game where they NAILED it

Let's see what we have here. Awesome intro? Check.

Smooth animations to complement fast-paced gameplay? Check.

Combo system that's easy to pick up? Check.

Beloved characters representing their respective sides? Check. Except for Zangief, I don't know how he kept making it into these Vs. games, especially the Marvel Vs. titles - he's a giant grappler, you'd think a fast paced game like this would not favor him at all, but I digress...

Do we have a kickass soundtrack? Ehhh, I mean some of the songs are cool, but the soundtrack has honestly been topped over time.

How about a cool tag team system where you can switch your character out with your partner at will? Check. You can even do combined super attacks.

On top of all that, you get a classic boss battle with Apocalypse. He's actually kind of an easy boss, just watch out for his big drill. Even so, to me, that just gives the game an extra bit of replayability.

The game just has such a perfectly simple combo system, I just love hitting weaker strikes and following that up with the big uppercut that launches character high in the air, and then following that up with an air combo.

It's a blast of a game, and if you're even vaguely familiar with X-Men or Street Fighter, I highly recommend trying this if you haven't. As far as console ports go, stay away from the Playstation 1 version.
