Personally, I wanna play Gears more at this point, but just want to know other people's opinions.

Left 4 dead

Fable 2, personally. I have a huge hatred for Gears of War as a franchise. I'm reserving judgement on Left 4 Dead until the demo comes out, because as it is now in videos, the gunplay looks like absolute shit. I need to try it for myself.

Yeah I agree with the whole Left 4 Dead thing , but Game Informer mag said it's good, so far they haven't let me down yet. Interesting concept though.

I'm really looking forward to Left 4 Dead, since I love zombie apocalypse themes sooo much!

Gears of war 2 by miles.

I'll be getting all three so it really doesn't matter to me.  I would probably say Gears 2 if I had to pick.

I really hate Gears, but I want Fable 2.

fuck gears 2, fuck fable 2. left4dead for me. The gunplay in L4D is mainly the way it appears because its taking right from the way the Counter Strike games are done, its the same team behind that game, so its that really arcade ish but easy yet can get crazy wth recoil and bullet spread kind of gunplay just like CS is. Some of the weapons look like they were pretty much copied direction from CS as well, they even stated that if you're familar with CS and the weapons in the game and how they feel thats basically left4dead's feel. Its premise interests me though, such a simple concept but put into a full Valve game with everything its offering and the way the AI changes because of the director and scans how you play and everything, I really like the direction it went in. I'll play Gears 2 at some point, just not excited one bit..as for fable, I thought the first one was barely interesting at all, and the second looks like more of the same in a bit bigger area and nothing more. Oh yeah and with a dog...because thats apparently the big sell of the game, at least peter m makes it out to be.

I really want Gears 2 and left 4 dead.

Fallout 3.

I played most of those at PAX, not Left4Dead though.I LOVED the first Gears so probably that,Fable 2 actually isn't that great,it's fun but it's not that much special(mind you i only played about 10 min of co-op)

You have to choose one? If so, I would probably go with Gears of War 2 or Left 4 Dead. All three games look fantastic though.

Gears 2 followed by Fable 2. I will buy all 3 of them anyway but Gears 2 is my most anticipated.

Gears of War 2, I need something to pull me away from Halo. I'll probably get Fable and Left 4 Dead later.

gears 2. come on the first one was awesome with tonnes of flaws now that they've fixed them it can only be 10 times more awesome. i still play gears to this day. best headshots in any game. ever.

I'd say gears is the way to go. I think that the replay value is high on Left 4 Dead, but keep in mind Gears2 has a coop campaign and online play that is quite fun. In terms of just being a quality game too, it's the winner.

Left 4 Dead is probably gonna come out for the PS3 sometime next year(valve stated so since they're now looking at development for it) but is launching PC and 360 at the same time..so its not exclusive in any way. The PC version will > the console one anyway, mod community will create entire new campaigns and such I'm assuming..valve assumes so too.

The PC version will probably be better for Left 4 Dead but I will probably get it on the 360 beecause of LIVE.

Fable 2. I love the theme. You know? Fairy-tale-esq. It's got magic, and dragons, and goblins, and... Wait, what was that? No, I'm not gay.
