Im having a bit of trouble deciding on which xbla games to get. I have 1900 MS points which sucks, cause if i had an extra 100, i could easily get Geo Wars2 and either braid or castle crashers.
So, my question is....what game would you recommend?

Braid is amazing, I think it's one of the few "must play" arcade games out there. But it is kind of short, so if you want a longer game go for Castle Crashers.

Zuma, Contra, Super Contra... whatever you like. That's why there are free trials.

Hmm well it depends what you are in the mood for.

A complicated puzzle game- Braid. Though remember that this one will leave you the most satisfied.

A easy, no thinking involved game. Castle Crashers. No one wants to think over Christmas break, so why should you play a game that makes you?

A fast paced, challenging shooter. Geo wars. This game takes insane concentration. Remember that.

So for the time, I'd say castle crashers. A nice relaxing fun game for the holidays. Also has good multiplayer if you have family coming over.

Get Geometry Wars 2. It's good to play listening to music or podcast and can be great if your just looking to play something in a short amount of time.

Buy 500 more points...then you can get yourself GeoWars 2, Braid/Castle Crashers, and a 400 point game(or you can just save those points).

Portal: Still Alive. It's short, yeah, I know; however, it's degree of longevity (or lackthereof) should not be a deciding factor in the purchase. Portal: Still Alive has some really mind bending puzzles and brilliant writing. If you haven't yet laughed in a videogame, prepare for a real treat.

Not to mention the Advanced Rooms and the campaign challenges are great incentives to come back to the game. I highly reccomend it!

Huh, tough question. Well, get more points and get both! ...Well, if you have to choose one, get Braid. It is a work of art, and, while it may be short, it will leave a lasting impression on you.

Its true about trying the trials...but going by the trial versions, i want them all !! Now that you guys mention SSF2THDR it makes me want that one too.
I think I'm gonna get GeoWars2 cause its intense, but also short bursts of gaming - pick up and play.

    Thrawn, you ROCK!!! thanks!

Now I'm gonna choose between braid, castle crashers and SSF2THDR...oh the choices!
    Thanks for your thoughts everyone

i reccomend geoms 2 and either bionic commando or braid.

geometry wars is a must have...bionic commando will last longer than braid, but braid is really awesome

let us know which ones you pick

i finally made my decision. I'll be picking up GeoWars2 and Braid.
I already have bionic commando on psn, and i cant see castle crashers keeping my attention for very long. I love games that offer great experiences, and after hearing everyone here, braid seems to deliver...and i definitely wanna see what all the fuss was about.
    Thanks for everyones opinion.
    and especially, thanks Thrawn.

Braid is good. I really like duke nukem 3d, and castlevania symphony of the night. All of these games are really good. My favorite is probably castlevania sotn, but if you prefer first person shooters get duke nukem, and if you don't want any puzzles in between the action get doom instead.

Castle Crashers, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, SF2HDR, and maybe Braid I only played the demo and didn't pick it up when it was on sale for 800 msp.... I'm an idiot.
