Personally I have never used them. I don't have much reason. Yes, my hd is small (I got my 360 in 2006 and never upgraded) but usually I'm only playing a couple games at a time, and if I decide to go back I usually start from scratch. Combined with the fact that your purchase history is stored on Xbox Live (meaning I can easily redownload old Arcade titles) and I almost have no reason to use it.

    So what about you?

Never. Though I can see the uses of it, I have no intentions of ever using it. It seems like a flash drive would be far more practical and less cumbersome.

used it once, thought it was cool. not been used since. does it save a local copy as well as a cloud copy, or just the cloud copy? if it does both i might start using it again.

Most games let you have two of the same saves. ME2 for example doesn't. It only lets you transfer, not copy, to anything.

Everyday. All my saves are on it. I can be using one of around 5 xboxes at any time during the day, so it's super handy.

I've used them for two reasons so far. First time was to move saves from my old small HD to my new bigger one. Second time was when I ran into a problem with my second character on Skyrim. The save wouldn't load, but I found out that if I moved it to the cloud and tried loading it from there, then it would work. Plus, having one character on my HD and the other in the cloud helps me to avoid accidentally saving over the wrong file or something. I most likely won't use the could any more than that, though. I never play on a different Xbox.

All the time. But the disk space they give you (512MB) is way too small to keep all my saves so I tend to just keep the saves of games I am currently playing and ones that I have either not finished or want to keep a back up of.

My main concern is my HDD failing so keeping them in the cloud seems to be worthwhile to me.

Your friend doesn't have the game then I assume? I mean it's not like you can costumize your house a lot and there isn't that much loot in the game to get anything that looks unique. One person's house looks about the same as another person's house. It's too bad you can't even choose a theme like in Fallout 3 (although the love theme was the only correct choice anyway).

To answer the question, I have never used cloud saves.

I only save over cloud right now. I like storing things locally, but I am still on a launch 360 and I know one day it's going to die on me and there's the chance I can't recover those saves. 100+ hour Skyrim saves gone forever = utter depression.

@dagas: He has the game but not my save file. It was just easier to show him something or if he was out I could play my file as well. Just convenience I guess.

Not so often. I only put my saves there when I've finished a RPG like Lost odyssey or Tales of vesperia just to be sure I keep them if something crazy would happen with my 360.

i go to my friend's house a lot so i have my EDF2017 cloud save so we can just boot that up and blow stuff up if we feel like it. apart from that i don't use it because the games i want to carry around on my cloud don't allow save coping.

To back up saves when your done with a game you might revisit someday? Like Skyrim? Cause someday being, well someday, who knows if you might have the same box that day...

...or maybe the saves will carry over to a fully backwards compatible Xbox 1440 in 10 or 20 years when Half Life 3 is totally retro and USB is obsolete like "what? why not a 36 pin parallel cable?"

The Xbox 360 cloud system saved me. Bit of a story but back in February (Valentines day actually..) someone broke into my apartment and stole my 360's. Yea really... I had just got back from taking my GF at the time to dinner to find my place ransacked... While yes the initial dollar investment lost in the 360, headset, controllers, memory cards, etc sucks but its all the time I've spent in each game that was now lost that really hurt. I was especially freaking out because I'm a huge Mass Effect fan and was now facing the possibility of not having a character ready to import.

Luckily the day prior I was messing around with my ME1 saves trying to get the ME2 importer to work. Apparently I had put the last save file over (before the last Saren fight) on the cloud and not the end game save by accident. I had forgot about this and was doomed and gloomed thinking there was no way I could 100% both games before 3 comes out but I turned on ME1 and saw the "continue game" option and nearly jumped out of my seat. Even luckier it was on my insanity run so after a few minutes I was able to beat Saren and get my N7 gamerpic back. So yes, now I use it when I can. Also, I'm glad to find out Castle Crashers and Scott Pilgrim automatically save to the server.

I don't. I like using a USB stick shoved into the back of my Xbox. Probably not the best idea since I can't count many USB drives I've had that have broken, but I like to live life on the edge so it's ok.
