Oh Xbox 360, from Oblivion to Battlefield: Bad Company, you have been a friend. For two and a half years you were there for me when no one else was. There good times and bad times, fun times and sad times. But in the end, I shall remember you as my one and only. Alas, when you first RROD'd my heart skipped a beat and I had thought I lost you; yet you lived on, strong and determined to live. For another year you triumphed on until yet again you RROD'd. This ever terrible cancer that has felled so many of your bretheren had returned, yet together we fought the fight of the ages! On you marched to the beat of defiance and longevity! You RROD'd in the middle of GTA IV, however you would not give up on me! You allowed me to finish that beautiful game and conquered many more.

We roamed Oblivion, marveled at Mass Effect, enjoyed Assassin's Creed (weerd i no rite?,) faced the dangers of Rapture in Bioshock, suffered as Halo 3 brought new meaning to prepubescence, jumped out of our seats whilst braving Condemned: Criminal Origins and Condemned 2: Bloodshot,  slo mo'd through F.E.A.R., pwned COD4, rofl'd at UT3, treasured Battlefield: Bad Company, watched many movies and other videos, and most importantly felt love....

I mourn your loss though I know you are in a better place now. I am forever greatful for the times we had and I shall give this to you as a parting gift:

I think I know what happened. This happens in a lot of "relationships" ...one person "loves" the other "person" too much and thus forces them/it to kill themselves. You drove your 360 to suicide. I hope that you're happy.

It didn't RROD. It just fried out, I turned it on four or five times and each time the screen would split apart into lines and freeze. The first time it didn't happen for about 15 minutes, the second was about 5 minutes, 30 seconds, instantly. It's gone!

Not true. When you send off your console to microsoft they specifically tell you not to send them the HDD, so your memory is safe. I've gone through two 360s already. One had a malfunctioning disk drive and the other had the RROD. Both times I got a new 360 and since you keep the HDD everything is back to normal. And they even gave me 3 months of free Xbox live.

When my 360 got RRoD, I thought: "Meh, that was bound to happen". No hard feelings and now it's not as noisy.

Like what you wrote and how you wrote it, but to think that free bird is a top 5 song is crazy. Its good, but top 5? Come on, if you are really into "classic rock" I know you think of at least 10 better songs than free bird. Free bird is a great song, don't get me wrong, but top 5, I just can't agree with.
