Some highly-ranked jerk dropped out when I was about to deliver the finishing blow on Magic: The Gathering XBLA game.    In a fit of anger, I messaged "p***y" back to him.
 
The gf is mad at me for sending it, and I guess it was juvenile and reactionary.  I'm feeling remorse.  While it was wrong to send a hateful message (my first), do you think I'll get banned? 
 
PS.  I sent a "do not prefer" rating too.

If something is offensive on Giantbomb, its offensive on the Xbox360, with few exceptions. You can say pussy a lot if you really want to here, but do it too much and youll get a warning for 'Flaming'. ;)

You honestly won't get banned for doing that. Or even punished. People do worse all the time when playing on Xbox LIVE. The guy probably won't even care. He'll probably delete the message and go play a game.

You will never get banned for sending messages or low rep or stuff like that.  You will only get banned for violating the TOS or just plain out cheating or modding your xbox for example.  Team killing or rage quitting out of matches will never get you banned by Xbox / Microsoft.
