Rent it. If you don't like it, wasting 8$ and waiting for returns is a lot better than buying a 60$ paperweight.

If you liked the demo then you should go and buy it immediately. It has a lot of replayability and a ton of stuff to unlock. If you didn't like the demo then you should consider renting it as an option. But I personally I highly recommend buying it.

Have you played any other Resident Evil games? Did you enjoy the demo? If you liked the demo, go buy it.

Buy it in my opinion.  The game is short but has lots of re-playability.

Well.........if you have friends, friends that you actually communicate with and not some random idiot you met online that hardly talks.......

i love using the rifle! - i've been upgrading that while my  mate is upgrading the shotgun, Teamwork is technically vital in this game.
Not got any friends? only use twitter, msn or texting as your choice of communicating with your friends? - then you'll hate this game xD as voice co-op is tbh needed - let your mate know zombies are creeping up behind him, where certain ammo is, Tactics - you get the picture.

so far im only at chapter 3-3, the controls arn't that bad so just ignore the people that say there shit as tbh, i personaly think Resi5 would be too easy with Resi4 controls :S

replayablity is there, and the co-op is nerverackingly good, lack of communications is the reason why people suck, not the controls :P
Poor choice of place to reload your weapon gets people killed, not the controls xD

I can't say go and buy it, but if you loved Resi4 - Resi5 is a solid buy, sure the controls are different, but it's not a problem and you'll learn to get used to them - if your still unsure just rent it......

This is definitely the kind of game you want to buy, and not rent. If you liked Resident Evil 4, getting this game is basically a no-brainer.

There's a LOT of replay value in this game. It took me and a friend about 12 hours to play through the main story on veteran I think. But after that, it behooves you to replay it again on professional for unlockables. And of course, there's the mercenaries mode which can also be co-op. Basically, you'll get a ton of hours out of RE5. Buy it. I really don't think you'll regret it.

I hate the demo, but I'm loving the retail copy and it's loaded with replay value. I've already probably sunk 20+ hours into the game and I'm still enjoying it and still have plenty of stuff left to unlock...it's my surprise hit of the year so far.

Rent it first, and then buy it if you really like it.

Buy it, but only if you liked RE4. If you do, you will get a definite $60 value out of this one.

I bought it but can't seem to connect with another player or when playing single player a player jumps in for one or 2 levels and then jumps out which makes it kind frustrating playing with the dumb ai?

I've played the game at one of my friend's houses, and it seemed fine. Only thing is that the controls are a little weird, and Sheva is left handed. If you're playing as Sheva, you'd better get used to it. Try the demo before even renting it. At least the demo is free.

Well since you posted this two weeks ago, if you never bought it go buy it. I played that game to death already and I'm not even started on mercenaries mode.
