It's amazing how many people have gone through replacements.   Including myself, I personally know 5 people who are on launch 360's.  I guess the Midwest got the good shipment? :P

I'm still technically on my launch box, but they've repaired it twice before. Both times it was the RROD.

Number 4.

On my 3rd .  First one the controller didnt work and the screen went all scrambly .  took it back after about a week . 4 days after getting second 360 it ate my week old copy of oblivion.

Put a bunch of circular scratches in it.    Three 360's in less than two weeks.

Both those consoles were from target. Got my money back from them , and got my third from Freddy's. worked perfect since I got it over two years ago. (THANK GOD!!)
Everything game related from target has given me trouble. never will I buy from there again!

Second for me but not because of the red ring, it was a video card problem and Microsoft support doesn't understand that concept.

5. im so sick of sending it in.

3rd but i'm really being careful with it. Have 3 fans on it to prevent overheating, plus a stand fan. Yeah, i'm really paranoid.

I'm still on my launch 360. I've had good luck with it. But I feel my 360's time is coming. Lets hope it lasts longer.

I'm still on the first one. I bought it last August when the HDMI pro dropped to $350.

Third, but not because they broke.   I just kept buying the replacement programs from Gamecrazy and swapped them out before they could break.  I am happy with the one i have now since it's an HDMI Falcon.

I am on my second 360 lucky I got the replacement fairly fast in Feb. but the one I have now has some some cd drive issuse and it makes a lot of noise.

First.  Bought it two months after launch, so... that could change any day now.

wow people are really high on 360s, im still on my first and i bought it the day gears of war came out, im having no signs of problems

2nd, but my first one didn't die. I just wanted to upgrade to an Elite.

On my 3rd but only 1 failure. The second one was traded in for an Elite.

My 360 is awsome,  I've had it since launch day in Nov '05 and never have had any problems... maybe it froze once or twice while playing, but I can't think of a console I've ever had that hasnt done that.

First!

my first started scratching discs,i sent it in,so now the new one is getting mailed.

On my second 360 and have had no problems with it (other than it sucking chunks of my life away :). My only regret is buying the extended warranty from the store, not knowing MS was going to extend their factory warranty.

First, it red ringed a while ago, but I turned it on it's side and it started working. Coincidence? maybe... Magic? probably...

Second the disc drive crapped out and ate my CoD4 DVD

Bought an Elite to replace it, been going strong for seven months.

1ST got it same day gears came out.

My 360 that I had for two years started scratching my discs and saying some brand new discs were unplayable. Ridiculous. Didn't want to spend the money to ship it out and then wait for a while, so i decided, fuck it, let's get an elite.

So far so good. Just got my elite today, and I love it. :)
