I still have 7 months left on my Gold card, so if this is true, I better get refunded lol.  But in the end, it is a good thing.
EDIT: Just realized this is for Games for Windows Live.....never mind then, those games suck anyways lol.

Only three games are now playable by Xbox Live Silvers:

  • Shadowrun
  • Universe at War: Earth Assault
  • Lost Planet: Colonies

They had to do this because it wouldn't make sense to make people pay to play it on the 360 and not on Windows.

Agreed - this really isn't massive news. Although providing a glimmer of hope that XBL may be moving to a free system, I doubt it will be happening anytime soon.

Maybe they are testing how many silver members start playing on those games to see if they would have a large increase.
