Apparently cross-platform online games like Shadowrun and Lost Planet can now be played online with a silver account.

I still have 7 months left on my Gold card, so if this is true, I better get refunded lol.  But in the end, it is a good thing.
EDIT: Just realized this is for Games for Windows Live.....never mind then, those games suck anyways lol.

Only three games are now playable by Xbox Live Silvers:

• Shadowrun
• Universe at War: Earth Assault
• Lost Planet: Colonies

I don't think many people still play those games.

Maybe they are testing how many silver members start playing on those games to see if they would have a large increase.
