How would a Giant Bomb Xbox Live friends list work?

I was thinking of making a silver account with the name Giant Bomb or GB Friends or something like that, and log on every Wednesday and accept requests. By doing this, you could view the friends list and invite Giant Bomb members you see. I wanted to get feedback from the community before doing this so I could hear your thoughts.

    So, what do you think?

I think it would probably work better as an organized thread or blog post on the site itself. That way, GB names could be listed along with the gamertags so people can know who's who, rather than a bunch of random gamertags on a friends list.

I think someone has made a thread with gamertags all ready

Really? I didn't see anything when I searched. Maybe I'm stupid.

Oh yeah, I just saw it. I searched "friends list" instead of "gamer tags."

Yeah and someone actually started doing just that for a while until it became apparent that even that is a bad way of doing it. Maybe Dave and the guys can work on some kind of natural integration of a gamertag and PSN ID list within the site. Although you can already just click on someones profile and check linked accounts already. I guess it may be redundant to have just another way to access that info.

No. I will never tell you what I think.

JK, I think it would be pretty cool. Being able to add your friends from XBL to see who's online at the moment. I mean they already have our info for achievements so I don't think our Friends would be that hard to do.

I like that idea! In fact I suggested it in a Red Dead Redemption thread. :P Saves time typing 1 gamertag, but it just puts all the pressure on 1 guy to accept friend requests every Wednesday, but it can save premium friend space.
