While playing GTA Online I was having all sorts of weird connection issue and got booted off Live once but others were still in the game when I came back so not sure.
Yep, okay just tried to load up xbox.com and sure enough as Chaser mentioned big ol phat DNS error. Oh boy....
I'm probably jumping to conclusions, but this seems a bit suspicious to me. I wouldn't be shocked if this is some sort of coordinated denial of service attack. There are a lot of people out there with dumb grudges against MS that would love to see things go bad.

@chaser324: Yeah, thats a bit tin foil hat right now. If it persists into the night then that might be exactly it. If nobody can update their Xbox tonight they are all going to be nothing but paperweights for everyone tonight. I hope everything goes smoothly for them. That would suck for them to put in all this work and then have their big moment blown.
If someone is attacking Microsoft's services and have managed to take down Azure and Xbox I wonder just how many clients they have hooked on their botnet right now.
