It's such a palatable deal, still having doubts though since I haven't spent over $12.50 on a single game this whole sale season.
God these digital services have turned me into such a penny pincher when it comes to games. I use to use buy games on release for 50-60$, now that idea seems unfathomable.
Just snatched this up. Great deal; maybe one of the best I've gotten all year.

I totally know what you mean, man. Even just the $17.50 for this made me hesitate, but for this specific game, it's too good to pass up.
Steam is currently selling this for 33,50€, 33% off. With this deal, it turned out just over 12,50€. Come on, Valve? Anyway, way too good to pass up and I've wanted to try this game out after all the positive reviews.
So my bank card does not work on GMG. Shortly after getting the errors, I saw the notice that some companies have flagged GMG as a gambling site and that I would have to call. After calling my bank, they tell me that GMG is a fraudulent merchant. I attempted to convince them that it is quite reputable and they still told me that they would not allow the transaction....great. So having said that, any idea from the community here on how I can get a hold of this game if I do not have another card available?
I bought the game, despite being only 20 percent of the way through Saints Row the Third, and having never touched Skyrim. If I get through more than 25 percent of X-Com I'll be shocked.

I was also in the same mindset, but it's not at all a hard decision to buy at $17 when you see the kind of golden acclaim it's receiving this year.
@Stradimus: You can you use Paypal if you need to use a bank card, but I still don't think using a bank card over the internet is a wise proposition for financial security. You really should get a credit card.
@heatDrive88: Yeah, I know I'm retarded for doing it, but I tend to be fairly careful of where I spend it and I tend to not have enough in that account to actually care.
