3DO was a video game console manufactured by Panasonic, Goldstar, and Sanyo. Despite the initial hype surrounding the system, the console's $700 price tag proved to be the ultimate kiss of death for the system.

I'm considering getting a 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, but there are two different models, the FZ-1 and the FZ-10. The FZ-1 looks like it's the default model, but the FZ-10 is most likely more technologically advanced, based on it's name. What's the difference between the two? Which is more powerful? And which do you recommend?

The FZ-10 is just a re-designed console, just like the Genesis 2 or PSone

So you should really just buy the one that you like the look of best.

So there is absolutely no difference in it's abilities or processing power or anything?

According to the Wikipedia page, the FZ-10 has a memory manager. Other than that, same console in a different box (the FZ-10 might also be more reliable since it is a re-designed board, but that is pure speculation).
