...and it doesn't sound absolutely stupid!!!
Details about the Infinity Ward/Activision debacle are starting to come out, and it would seem that Activision might have reasons for firing West and Zampella after all.
According to Activision's lawsuits, West and Zampella had "morphed from valued, responsible executives into insubordinate and self-serving schemers who attempted to hijack Activision's assets for their own personal gain."
As if that weren't enough, there also happens to be a little tidbit about how West and Zampella "took a secret trip by private jet to Northern California, arranged by their Hollywood agent, to meet with the senior executives of Activision's closest competitors".
Activision ALSO makes a bold claim that West and Zampella were WITHHOLDING MONEY FROM OTHER IW EMPLOYEES in an effort to postpone pre-production on Modern Warfare 3.
The only thing that seems to be a bit misplaced is the fact that Activision had originally stated, as well as Infinity Ward, that the Modern Warfare brand WAS Infinity Ward's under contract. Therefore, all we can say is that this is gonna get messy...
