The Borderlands GOTY edition just got a whole lot sweeter, since Gearbox has revealed each copy of the game will come with a "membership certificate" to the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club. That will give members exclusive access to items in the game, as well as first dibs on a downloadable DNF demo some time before it's released to the masses. What a way to get you to buy the edition regardless of whether you own the expansions included in the feature-rich edition, eh?
2K, unfortunately, hasn't said when that demo will come out. Considering this is Duke Nukem Forever, a game that started development approximately one eon ago, I'm guessing this is a wise move. You don't want to put a date on anything DNF-related anymore. It's been a long time coming and an unforeseen delay could have the potential to shatter the confidence in the game Gearbox has gained since announcing its involvement with the title.
