A brief announcement yesterday linked Capcom with Monumental Games, a UK-based studio that was started in 2005. The announcement merely stated that Monumental would be doing a multiplatform title for Capcom that would be released later this year. No word on what the game actually is.

If you start to poke around Monumental's official site, you'll see that they're looking to hire someone to work on the Wii version of a "multi SKU AAA racing game." Also, it's worth noting that Rik Alexander, one of Monumental's founders, used to be at Climax... the house that did the MotoGP games for THQ.

Capcom, as you may recall, currently has a license to do MotoGP games.

Just sayin'.
