The Swapper is good but not as good at scoops makes it out to be. Don't go in expecting a miracle, but play it because its rad.
Do go in expecting a game narrative version of Moon and 2001, and doing it successfully delving into ideas of consciousness unbounded by the physical and the power of the unknown.
@cale: The ending is super good, but I wouldn't say that's what makes it good. The puzzles do that. So if you're not digging the puzzles, I guess it just didn't click.
@megabite10164: Doesn't time slow down while you are aiming or something like that? They could probably make that more pronounced, or add an additional level of slowing on another button if the precision was an issue.
I stopped playing around 3/4 of the way through and never found any incentive to go back to it. Maybe the ending is what makes it good? I enjoyed Rochard more than I did this, another game I stopped playing around 3/4 of the way through.
Woooo... Wait that seems like it would be hard to control with 2 joysticks. I remember there being several sections where you needed really accurate spawning and swapping.
