@Catolf: Yep, I also agree with that.  I don't understand all the people freaking out about the sexual content in the trailer (except for that one boob shot, which made me feel rather iffy) because no one reacts that way when there's that content in TV, books or movies.  It's a simple sex scene, there's nothing so freaky about that.  And I also don't understand why people think that the ESRB will go nuts with this when it won't have any full nudity.  The Ballad of Gay Tony had a completely nude penis shown and several games show naked boobs.  It's no big deal. "

It can be done tastefully, but you've been warned before hand that this will be mature and adult themed. The game (much like many) are treated differently because of this, thus all the controversy surrounding mass Effect and then suddenly you don't get that in Mass Effect 2 (taking the safe route?) because of the backlash.  It see Games as the same as the media in your TV and so on. We don't bat an eye at all the sex on TV (especially those 'family' net works... like teen nick, dear lord new Degrassi anymore..XP) but once it shows up in a game there are.... issues. Parents up in arms and people beating down doors..  I remember when Persona 3 came out and all i kept hearing is "Suicide" over and over on how to describe the game.  I think this game WILL be centered around the sex with Catherine. And I do think that is how you get to that world, it's through (....pun?) her.. With the game 80% done there is no way they are going to take it out. And I hope they don't, it would be censoring and I can't agree with it. But as said, It would be done tastefully so I doubt we have anything to worry about. "

Its so hard to say much at this point.  It could be a typical noirish plot line where a dame walks into a man's life and with her she brings trouble and everything goes to hell, possibly literally in this case.  It could be a typical mid-life crisis event (hey if you save the world at 16 you must have midlife crisis at 32 in Japan right?) which may give us an American Beauty type story.  It may well just be an exploration of the power of sex to consume and confuse.  Or Catherine might be an actual Succubus/Witch/Harpy.  Yeah the last one isn't interesting at all.

I saw this earlier this week and was convinced it was Persona 5. Now I don't feel so bad when I see it's the same team that did Persona. And yes, first day purchase, and another excuse to buy a PS3.
