Here's Exactly What Max Payne 3 Looks Like

At first I liked the new look... but now, thinking about it...
he's missing his "character" The Black Leather Jacket.
Hopefully there will be at least one level in the game where
he puts it on...
That would make a climactic last level even more ...climactic.

New York City during a snowstorm was as much a character as Max. I'm preemptively labeling this game is an abomination!

the first 2 games were awesome........ so Im on board, looks fun.

Yes his look is very disappointing. It's a good thing when they try new things with games, but he doesn't look like Max and nor does the environment, these images simply don't feel like Max Payne at all, and with their major screw up with GTA 4 (it's a great game, but compared to the 3 before it was imo a major screw up), I really don't know if the gameplay will feel like Max Payne either.
Imo if you don't want to make it anything like the first 2, then just don't call it Max Payne.

but..but... where is the snowstorm?, where... wheres the jacket? where is the darkness? WHAT THE FUCK HAVE THEY DONE????

Oh comon you guys... Noir New York in a snow storm and a leather Jacket does not a Max Payne make, just look at the movie version! I think they could take the Noir style into the daylight... The blistering sun constantly shining in your eyes can be just as depressing as the blackest night. 
I'm more worried about: 
A) Cover based shooting (WHY GOD WHY?!)  
B) Not the same voice actor for Max (could work out okay though) 

I've seen these screenshots a while ago so they can't be new.  I don't like the new art style or the fact that Max looks like a bum.

It seems like they are completely changing the gameplay, the art style, the look of the character, the environment....  probably no mafia... and nobody can write that "ham-handed" (as brad would say) story line quite like remedy.  Is he not going to be smelling stinky cheese??  How can they remove him from the tragedy of losing his wife when thats so central to the character?  So whats left of Max Payne??  I'm sad.  Maybe i'll play the first two games again and mourn the loss.

This is great. I was getting tired of all those atmospheric noir shooters. A macho bald man shooting foreigners is just the refreshing change we need.

I continue to be partially excited for this.

This is not Max Payne, as far as I'm concerned. No Remedy..check! Different writer..check! I'm sorry, but you can plaster the name all over the game as much as you want, but that doesn't make it Max Payne. I'm not saying this will be a bad game, in fact I'll be quite shocked if it's anything worse than good, given the Rockstar track record, but it could easily be named something else. Obviously the MP name is profitable, so we see the justification in that. I'm just going to pretend I never saw this, like it was prior to seeing this thread. Max Payne only has one sequel, and that's how it will remain in my world.
