Konami Announces Two DLC Packs For Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow

Two additional chunks of downloadable content are coming to both versions of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow in early 2011, Konami has announced.
 
The first pack, called Reverie, appears to be a standard, one-off DLC addition that ties into the events of the main game. According to Konami, it'll have you returning to the game's castle as Gabriel in an attempt to help the former servant Laura destroy "the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen."

I'm not against the DLC. It sounds like a great expansion to the game. The game had a proper (if not confusing) ending, and the Resurrection sounds like an epilogue.

Anything Castlevania-related is an automatic must-buy for me.  I'll be there the day they each are released with bells on.  That is, I will have bells on. I don't think they would release DLC with bells accessories.  Although that would be pretty rad.

If it has points then I'm in.  Got the full 1,000 last week and loved this game.  Would totally jump back into it.

Aww crap. I wish I hadn't traded it in yet. Oh well, by the time I'll want to play through it again, it might be cheap enough where I won't mind buying it again as I absolutely loved playing through it the first time.

DLC!? I haven't even beaten the game yet!

Dammit... Rented and returned by mail when it came out... Oh well, maybe I can Youtube a playthrough of them...

Damn this is good news. My second favorite game of 2010. I had such a fun time with this!

This has got me excited about Lords of Shadow again. Maybe I'll finally finish it this holiday season.

Can't wait. LOS was a great game and certainly didn't feel like they held things back for later DLC as Assassin's Creed 2 felt.

Absolutely. This game is my 'hack and slash' of the year.

I'm still playing through Lords of Shadow so i guess i'll finish the game first, but so far i'm loving it so there is a good change i'll pick this up.

I wouldn't mind playing both of those actually. 
 
Still if the latter DLC will have the "final showdown with a notorious enemy" where would that leave the recently announced sequel? Actually, it's though for me to imagine any way the series could go, story wise, which makes it kind of interesting.

wow I am surprised they are having DLC for this game, wasnt expecting it.

Castlevania is easily my game of the year (haven't played AC or COD yet) and this will defo be a day one buy for me.

they must have ran out of overpriced song packs to put out for the castlevania games...

While I liked the game, getting the plat in it really left me no longer interested in it. We'll see once they're out.

 
After just finishing the game i'm even more excited to play more Lords of Shadow! And now i really want to know who this enemy is you're going to face...

I'll play it, mainly out of a compulsion for completeness. Considering the castle portions were pretty much the only part of the game I can say I genuinely enjoyed, I'm curious to see what they'll do with it.

I'll be getting the DLC too provided they aren't absurdly overpriced.
