Sega sent out a quick release telling the world that it's working with tri-Ace, famed Japanese developers of role-playing games such as the Star Ocean series, on a new one called Resonance of Fate. There's scarcely any info to speak of, but here's the pertinent paragraph from the press release.
Developed by Tokyo-based tri-Ace Inc., Resonance of Fate redefines the RPG genre with a unique storyline, highly stylized graphics, and an emphasis on realistic gunplay and engrossing action. Players will be immersed in a gritty, highly mechanized world unlike any other. With Hollywood-style action sequences, customizable weapons, and memorable characters, Resonance of Fate takes players far beyond the boundaries of the typical RPG.
The game is coming to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3... eventually. Screens!
