The catch is, that delay is only applicable to Japan so far. Sega declined to give me a comment on the fate of the U.S. version, which leaves one of two outcomes.
- A North American delay has yet to be announced.
- The comparatively busted U.S. version will come out in December as scheduled.
Clearly someone at Sega lacks faith in the quality of the product, or they wouldn't be taking time to retool it. I'd like to think maybe they're just tweaking it for the Japanese market--perhaps the eyeballs aren't huge enough or something--but "further improve the quality" seems pretty explicit.
