I've been anticipating this game all year, I bought it as soon as it came up on XBLA without even trying the demo.

I thought Bangai-O Spirits was a decent shooter, but this game looks much faster and bigger. I might post some thoughts on it once I try it out.

Is anyone else going to get this, or at least try it out for a few seconds?

I'll get it, but if it's anything like the DS version, I'll be able to finish like three levels.

Loved the Dreamcast version so I'm missing being a tiny sprite. Also it doesn't seem to have the same batshit story/dialogue from it either it seems.

Then again, I only tried the trial. I'll probably get it after I've thinned out some backlog

    Still awesome explosions everywhere.

I already managed to get a handful of the achievements (Including the "Exact Counter" achievement - which requires a counter to be released EXACTLY as the invulnerability wears off)

One thing about online, though - it seems to be limited to what the host player has unlocked or available.

There's a lot more strategy involved in this game than there was in spirits.

For example, you can't just spam your ex attacks and expect to win like that. You don't get to choose which weapons you want to use in each mission either.
