I was able to download this game for free.  Check it out, http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php

If you're a fan of the adventure game genre.. you have nothing to lose.   Great game and the fact that it's free only makes it better.

Now I'm just waiting for Lucas Arts to get off their asses and offer all of their great point and click adventures for free.

    it's a fucking great title!

I remember when it was first released, my parents bought it for me for Christmas, and because of the way I'd wrapped it, I was able to unwrap it, take it out of the box and install it, then before my parents came home from work, put the CD back in the box and wrap it back up again. I remember my Dad being suspicious about how quickly I was picking the game up and why did I seem to know exactly what to do for the first hour or so of the game :)

Oh dip! Could we be seeing a sequel in the future?

Was never a huge fan of Broken Sword so I hope they start focusing on a Beneath A Steel Sky sequel instead.
Man, I should replay this game. I haven't played it since 95-96
