As much as l Love Revenge, Takedown, Paradise, I still go back and play this one from time to time. It has a level of purity that the later EA-published games are missing. Runs incredibly smoothly, starts up quickly, plays beautifully. Superb.

Burnout 2 is by a long shot my favorite of the series. The racing was exciting and uncomplicated by all the additions that would come later. Crash mode was the real deal, the best the mode has ever been.  We spent hours just passing the contoler around crashing the same intersections. Something about the randomization of traffic patterns allowed for almost endless replay. LOVE IT.
