Activision have announced, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, for Nintendo DS.

Developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS by n-Space, Mobilized will see players using the cutting-edge weaponry, arming players with precision controls for hard battles with opposing forces across some of  the world's most dangerous hotspots.

Players will be in on the ground fighting building-to-building in strong tactical combat. Hacking into enemy computer terminals using DS touch controls. Taking  control of large military vehicles like Battle Tanks and UAV Spy Drones, or manning the guns of an AC-130 gunship just like CoD4:MW. This new title aims to bring all of Modern Warfare's intensity packaged in minature form, while using a unique storyline and companion narrative to push the action along.

The game will also serve up a host of new features, including a six-player online multiplayer mode that allows friends to host their own server. As well as the brand new Survival Mode, giving players a variety of weapons to hold off waves of oncoming enemy forces and an expanded six-player online multiplayer mode. Also, an Arcade Mode will allow gamers to replay the game's single-player with a time limit and running score, with extra points awarded for specific achievements gained.

Due on 10th November, the title will launch alongside Infinity Ward's highly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2.

this game will be absolutely nothing like the real game in terms of the actual gameplay. period.

i really hate how only in the videogame can you slap the same title on as many things as possible even though they are nothing alike.
like o0o this is the mobile version. then you play it and realize, what the fuck does this have to do with the real game?!!? just like metal gear solid touch.

@TwoOneFive: Actually, from what I have heard, the DS version of COD 4 is surprisingly good. Even though it only has local multiplayer.

True, the DS version was a OK game, and from a technical standpoint pretty impressive for the DS. Hopefully this will be far better, it' sounds like they're putting a lot of effort into it with all this online stuff.
