I mean I know it's brand new but they can't even keep the server up for a whole day. I bought the game 2 days ago and I finally got it working this morning but I only got to play it for like an hour and a half before the server went down. I've been waiting to play it for like 5 hours now :(

Anyone have any idea when it'll be back? Yes, I did try asking on the Champions Online forums but the site seems to be going down about every 5 minutes so I wasn't even able to post something.

The best advice I can give for new MMO launches:  don't participate in them.

I would agree on casual levels, but if you're a MMO follower and admirer, launches are a great way to judge a MMO's lifecycle with as little bias as possible; they are great snippets in time to look at. Depends on the game of course but downtime is expected.
