Samuel is the captain of Queen Bella's Revenge, a lifelong pirate, and one of the founders of the town. The town originally was named "Gilman Hill" after him, but it later changed as the town grew larger. Death soured Samuel considerably. He now spends his nights complaining to whomever happens by.

Max was the first mate of the Queen Bella's Revenge, and at one time the best friend of Samuel Gilman. Since their death they have grown apart. Max hopes to one day find someone to retrieve a precious item he lost long ago.

Angela Gilman
The daughter of James Gilman, Angela married a Goth man, much to the chagrin of her father, something he never forgave her for. She never changed her last name to Goth however, perhaps to placate her father in some small way. She died a relatively young woman from unknown causes, some say from a witch's curse, while others say it was in childbirth. In any case, the Goth clan left the town shortly after her death.

The oldest of Fryda's three cats, Clothos often acts as the matriarch of the trio. She is the undisputed queen of the lawn with nary a bird or squirrel to be seen.

The crazy, but not-so-old, cat lady. Fryda moved away from her childhood home in Sunset Valley right out of college. She would like nothing more than to continue her journalism career in peace with her three cats. Unfortunately, her mother keeps calling, wanting to know when she is going to give her grandkids. She would have more cats if the Sim Count zoning commission would allow her. She petitions them monthly.

A childhood friend of Lilith, they began dating as teens and stayed together through the college years. They talk of marriage, but Dirk hasn't been willing to make the leap yet. He moved here with Lilith to work at the new medical facility in town. He loves the job, but he isn't sure about small town living yet.

Dirk's apparent fear of commitment act is wearing thin with Lilith. She is getting close to the point of laying down an ultimatum. She is easy to spot in town with her blazing red hair and fair skin. She is gregarious and loves to party, much the opposite of the often reserved Dirk.

Eron is the grandson of Mario Angel, who served with Samuel Gilman aboard the Hawthorn when the town was first settled. Finding work as a deputy, he, his new wife, and her teenage daughter from a previous marriage look forward to beginning their new family. That is, if Eron can adapt to his wife's aptly named cat, Apocalypse, who is both hyper and destructive. Fortunately for the cat's sake, he is also devastatingly cute. Eron also is a second cousin of Fryda Wolff, though neither are aware of it.
