The crazy, but not-so-old, cat lady. Fryda moved away from her childhood home in Sunset Valley right out of college. She would like nothing more than to continue her journalism career in peace with her three cats. Unfortunately, her mother keeps calling, wanting to know when she is going to give her grandkids. She would have more cats if the Sim Count zoning commission would allow her. She petitions them monthly.

A childhood friend of Lilith, they began dating as teens and stayed together through the college years. They talk of marriage, but Dirk hasn't been willing to make the leap yet. He moved here with Lilith to work at the new medical facility in town. He loves the job, but he isn't sure about small town living yet.

Dirk's apparent fear of commitment act is wearing thin with Lilith. She is getting close to the point of laying down an ultimatum. She is easy to spot in town with her blazing red hair and fair skin. She is gregarious and loves to party, much the opposite of the often reserved Dirk.

Eron is the grandson of Mario Angel, who served with Samuel Gilman aboard the Hawthorn when the town was first settled. Finding work as a deputy, he, his new wife, and her teenage daughter from a previous marriage look forward to beginning their new family. That is, if Eron can adapt to his wife's aptly named cat, Apocalypse, who is both hyper and destructive. Fortunately for the cat's sake, he is also devastatingly cute. Eron also is a second cousin of Fryda Wolff, though neither are aware of it.

"Weird, and not in a good way", would be an accurate description of Eleanor. She is seen as neurotic, nervous, and simply not very nice. However she is lonely, something her father is doing his best to help cure. He would say she really isn't that bad, just a little rough around the edges. Some might say she is a bit more than "a little" rough.
