I was wondering if anyone knew how to find the key you need for the chest in the first new area, or the lever in the second one. I have done everything except for the final boss in my second playthrough, and haven't found either. Is the key a random drop? If so, from what?

Also still haven't found a way past the mortis glyph yet.
