Deadly Intent is the second game in Telltale's TV series tie-in on the consoles and once again features five episodes of puzzling, murder solving, and hidden object searching. 

Although similar in design to CSI Hard Evidence, a number of welcome user interface improvements have been made that help the game zip along. Whilst never matching the heights of Hard Evidence's episodes, the five murder investigation here offer enough twists and turns for the arm chair sleuth. 

The CSI games are never going to win any prizes but they offer something different and do get those little grey cells working. 3/5

 Reviewing a CSI game is distinctly hard. Not because of the content or quality of the product or experience, but because a significant portion of the players enjoyment of this game will be based souly on how much they like (or how big their tolerance is for) the TV show. Spread across 5 “episodes” this game is a point and click detective experience, tasking you in the role of the new guy in the Las Vegas CSI lab. Let me start off by saying that I'm a pretty big fan of the series. I haven't seen the most recent season, but I have seen all the episodes up through season seven. However, I'm an even bigger fan of the CSI games. I've played all of them back to the first one released in 2003 (except apparently for the one released on the iPhone that I just learned about). Critically these games have all received pretty terrible scores, but I actually enjoyed all of them. The cases were all pretty well written ...
