What exactly makes it such a great weapon? I haven't really seen its stats or anything, just people praising it when it's at +10. Happily using +5 Furysword but wondering if Washing Pole is a step up or not and whether I should work to get it.

its a curved greatsword , not as much damage as greatswords but they have superior handling and far lower weight and strength requirements . , i really think the washing pole is shitty however due to only having 60 durabily , the muramako (giant skeleton falchion) is a pretty versatile weapon .. i think people just like having something resembling sephiroths sword, because its easily outclassed within its own group of weapons.

ehm, its a katana and i has got a loooong range, but its also double or triple the weigh of an normal katana ( i think it is 8.0). i heard many people upgrade it to +5 lightning and are very happy with it.

Its got great reach, but mostly its just Sephiroth's katana. Its so fucking badass.
