    Overview

Dezaemon Kids! is a 2D shoot-'em-up construction kit developed and published by Athena for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on October 22, 1998.

The sixth and final entry in the Dezaemon series, Dezaemon Kids builds upon Dezaemon Plus by including numerous enhancements (such as CD redbook audio support and side-scrolling support) and both a new graphical menu system (making it more child-friendly) and a fully-voiced companion (the green rabbit Peron). Like Dezaemon Plus, this game support the PlayStation Mouse.

It also includes a bonus disc (titled Dezaemon Select 100) that includes 102 fan-made games that were built with Dezaemon Plus and selected from a contest hosted by Athena. Players can also use the "Easy Edit" feature to combine stages from any of the 102 games to form their own pseudo-game. They can also import game assets from most of these 102 games to Dezaemon Plus.

The game was also released in August 24, 2000 by Success as part of their SuperLite 1500 budget series. It was later digitally re-released for the PlayStation Network in Japan (on March 21, 2008), North America (on November 2, 2011), and Europe (on December 19, 2012). The overseas versions were released by MonkeyPaw and are untranslated (requiring use of their online translation guide), while none of the PSN versions have mouse support.
