To those that have played the whole game, are there any moments in the game that were like the concept art? 

Looks awesome. That robot goofy is kind of creepy, but really cool.

I look at that concept art and weep for what could have been.

Personally, I really enjoyed this game, but I DO feel like something was missing from it, and I hate to admit that the concept art is probably what makes me feel that way. I don't think people are being completely fair in their criticisms of the game, but when you look at this concept art--especially anything that features the Phantom Blot--I can't help feeling like there wasn't quite enough EPIC in the game. I'd have especially appreciated a much more EPIC final boss fight.

That said, for what Epic Mickey turned out to be, I think it's pretty good. (Keep complaining about the fetch quests people! I'll just keep pointing out that Borderlands features an abundance of those, as do most ALL games that are RPG or platformer related, INCLUDING the games that score 10s.)
