    Masterclass game

    Doom Eternal is a masterpiece. id software (ID) has stuck to the same 27 year old formula that PC gamers fell in love with on MS DOS, and continue to improve on it with additional game mechanics, an upgraded engine, and new demons of Hell to slaughter while listening to excellent heavy metal music.

    • Additional mechanics, allowing for more options in combat and faster movement, further increasing the intensity of Doom’s refined gameplay.
    • A brand new album of music from Mick Gordon that is the same high quality from Doom 2016
    • An improved, well optimized engine with better graphics
    • Good variety of areas in the campaign, ranging from Earth, Hell, and otherworldly dimensions

    Cons

    • I ran into a few bugs, including one game breaking one with invincible demons.

      This game was a breath of fresh air for me. A somewhat modern game that is honestly an easy 10/10 for me which is so so so rare. I enjoyed every second of the campaign, literally. It was so well done. The only issue is some bugs I encountered but nothing too serious. ...

      IntroWith DOOM 2016, id Software managed to surprise many players with their reimagination of the DOOM series, especially with the singleplayer part. With DOOM Eternal, they promised to bring even more brutal, fast-paced action.
