    Eva is the mother of Dante and Vergil. In the original Devil May Cry series Eva is only mentioned in passing and while Eva herself is never seen it is revealed that Trish was made in the image of Dante's mother. While her marriage to the demon Sparda and subsequent birth of two sons Dante & Vergil also remains the same Eva has varying origins In the original DMC series Eva was a human who gave birth two twin half demon half human boys. In the rebooted 2013 version of Devil May Cry Eva's origin has been rewritten a bit and she is instead an angel. In both versions of the Devil May Cry canon Eva is Murdered by Mundus.
